How do I care for my wood art?

3 quick tips
  • Place spacers under your carving to allow airflow.
  • Treat your carving initially and yearly or as needed.  We use Spar Urethane (waterbased, pro series: from Lowes).
  • Direct sunlight and dry air during the Winter can cause a carving to weather/check faster.   Keep this in mind when finding a perfect spot for it.  (This is more of a disclaimer than anything, many people put carvings in the middle of their front yard but need to treat them appropriately.)
Please view our "Carving Care" page for more information.

How much do "they" cost?

Most in-stock inventory pieces start at $150.
Most custom orders start at $300.
On-site carvings start at $1200.

What type of wood do you use?

We use mostly locally recycled White Pine.  We do not purchase wood.
We also use ALL types of trees for on-site carvings.

How long does a custom order carving take?

Typically 6-8 weeks.  Contact us to see what our current wait time is or to request an expedited project.
